| Abstract: | The crystal structure of n-p-methoxybenzylidene-p-phenylazo- aniline, a nematogenic compound of positive dielectric anisotropy has been determined by x-ray diffraction methods using single crystals. It is established that the nearest neighbours are oriented antiparallel with respect to each other. |
