Abstract: NMR techniques have been developed to study methyl group reorientation and hydrogen bond dynamics as a function of hydrostatic pressure. This paper briefly reviews some earlier work and presents new results of the pressure dependence of the reorientation of two distinct methyl groups in methyl ethyl ketone.
