| Abstract: | I present a simple version of Witten's proof of the Positive Energy Thoerem. The argument is based on Ashtekar Variables and is polynomial in these variables. Apart from considerably simplifying Witten's original argument, the present version gives a unified approach to proving the positivity of the ADM Mass, the Bondi Mass and the Bondi News. |
