dc.description.abstract | The computer 'software' for 2-dimensional NMR spectroscoopy has been developed. The application of such a technique to 'oriented' systems has been made. It has been demonstrated that the 2-dimensional spin-echo (2D) NMR spectra of oriented molecules may provide additional information compared to the normal single resonance 1-dimensional (ID) spectra. The concept of 'deceptive simplicity' in the 2D-spectra has been examined. It is shown that the 2D spectra may be more sensitive than the corresponding 1D-spectra for the determination of certain spectral parameters. | en |
