Abstract: Corrugated horns are used in Radio telescopes as feeders for reflector antennas. The- se are usually made by a hybrid electroforming and machining method. However, no published information is available in literature on manufacturing of corrugated horns solely by electroforming. We, in this paper, for the first time, present a method of making corrugated horn with an integral circular to rectangular transition and a flange, entirely by electroforming technique. The performance of the horn was evaluated at the design frequency rage 85-115 GHz. and was found to be excellent.
