dc.description.abstract	For sometime now we have been conducting high pressure studies on various types of liquid crystalline phase transitions. Two topics of current interest in liquid crystalline systems are (i) the phenomenon of reentrance, and (ii) multicritical points. In this paper we present some of the recent results of our pressure studies dealing with these two aspects.	en
