Science must subserve only peaceful ends

Abstract

Dr. Sir C V Raman delivered the presidential address during the 32nd annual meeting of the Indian academy of sciences on 'eye and vision' and pointed out that his most recent studies on human vision has led to a view of its nature and functioning totally different from the beliefs hitherto entertained.
