Low power by energy multiplexing in liquid crystal displays

Abstract

Low power consumption and low hardware complexity of drivers can be achieved by scanning the matrix display with data corresponding to one bit of gray shade at a time. Approach to realization of low power in liquid crystal displays with high efficacy will be discussed.
