Dr. Raman abandons tour to start research forthwith

Abstract

Dr. C.V. Raman said here today that he has indefinitely postponed his tour of the United States owing to his preoccupation with the starting of the Raman Research Institute at Bangalore. He had been invited by the Watumull Foundation to the U.S. for a lecture tour.
