Crystalline state of matter : C V Raman explains hypotheses

Abstract

In his inaugural address to the International symposium on protein structure & crystallography, Dr. C V Raman explained that all hypotheses regarding the crystalline state of matter, which were the present stock-in-trade of X-ray workers and solid state physicists were of an arbitrary nature.
