Abstract

On the occasion of the conclusion of training of the first batch of teachers in the Basic Education Teachers Training Center, a Gurukula Ashram in Kengeri, Bangalore, Sir C. V.Raman gave a presidential address stressing the importance of need for rural centers of scientific knowledge.
