Consortia are a boon to librarians in the digital Environment enhancing the power of online access to a variety of information resources. CSIR ejournal consortium started in the year 2002. DST funded autonomous organizations joined this Consortia in April 2009. This CSIR DST consortium was renamed as "National Knowledge Resource Consortium(NKRC)".
