Researches in science: Sir C V. Raman's appeal - easter session at Bangalore

Abstract

Sir C.V. Raman addressing a large gathering of scientists at the Easter session held under the auspices of the Indian Academy of Sciences, the Association of Economic Botanists, the Indian Chemical Society, the Institute of Chemistry of Great Britain and Ireland (Indian Section) the Society of Biologicl Chemists, India and the South Indian Science Association condemned the attitude of those politicians and 'get-rich-quick economists' who assessed the value of science in terms of money only.
