| Abstract: | The comments by S. Marianer and J.M. Deutsch (see ibid., vol.17, p.L737, 1984) regarding the physical nature of the motion of a particle in a random static potential are shown to be invalid in the case of spatially uncorrelated potentials. It is argued on physical grounds that in this case (x2(t)) increases indefinitely in time, in agreement with the authors' previous exact results. |
