| Abstract: | Dr. C V Raman and his collaborators report - After some research and on the nature and origin of the spectacular effect of luminescence displayed by many crystalline solids under ultra-violet radiation, came to the conclusion that the features exhibited flourspar in its luminescence and the related absorption presented various points of resemblance to the behaviour of diamond. |
