| Abstract: | Sir C.V.Raman, the Nobel prize winner, returned to Calcutta after a tour of Europe where he went to receive the Nobel Prize. He was accorded an enthusiastic reception at Howrah station where he was met by Professors and students. Lady Raman gave a full and interesting account of their trip. |
