| Abstract: | Inaugurating the Silver Jubilee Anniversary and the 19th Annual Convention of the Sugar Technologists Association of India, C. V. Raman deplored the Government interference in the natural working of the human society which he compared to a delicately mechanised instrument and held that controls on essential commodities like sugar have created unnecessary complications. |
