Laser light wascoupled into the polarization maintaining  ber to get highest e ciency andminimum uctuation in the polarization. Atoms in 2D MOT will be trans-ferred into 3D MOT cell. An EMCCD camera is required for the absorptionimaging of 3D MOT.
